Contest Rules

These general Zentryl rules cover 13+ eligibility, free league entry, gameplay, results, disputes, and conduct. Separate sponsored promotions may publish additional official rules.

Effective date: July 20, 2026

Version: 2026-07-20.3

1. Scope

These Rules govern ordinary free-entry leagues created and operated through the current Zentryl app. Players do not pay an entry fee, and newly created in-app seasons do not offer cash prizes.

A separate Zentryl-sponsored promotion, including a promotional launch league, may offer a prize under additional published official rules. Those promotion-specific rules control where they conflict with these general free-entry league rules.

2. Eligibility

Participants must be at least 13, maintain a valid Zentryl account, and follow these Rules, the Terms of Service, and the rules published for their league.

If a participant is under the age of legal majority where they live, they may participate only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to the Terms on their behalf.

Zentryl does not publish state-by-state exclusions for ordinary free-entry in-app leagues. Participation remains subject to applicable law and platform availability.

3. Skill-Based Format

League outcomes are determined by participant or team gameplay, reported results, published scoring rules, and verified standings. Random chance does not determine winners.

Betting, side wagers, paid raffles, entry fees, and other chance-based or gambling-style mechanics are prohibited in Zentryl leagues.

4. Entry and League Settings

Eligible users enter by joining a public league or using a valid private-league join code and completing any posted non-financial participation requirements.

The league's published settings identify its game, dynasty or team mode, capacity, season length, schedule structure, result-confirmation settings, and playoff format. Participants are responsible for reviewing those settings before joining.

5. Scheduling and Participation

Participants must make reasonable efforts to play scheduled matches on time, communicate availability in good faith, and follow commissioner instructions that are consistent with the published league rules.

Commissioners may apply published no-show, disconnect, rescheduling, substitution, roster, and advancement rules consistently across participants.

6. Results and Evidence

Players must report accurate scores and outcomes. When result confirmation is enabled, the opposing player or authorized team representative may confirm or dispute a report.

Zentryl or the commissioner may request screenshots, stream references, game records, or other reasonable evidence. False reports or fabricated evidence may result in correction, forfeiture, removal, or account action.

7. Standings, Playoffs, and Winners

Standings and advancement are determined by the league's configured format, confirmed results, and published tie-breaker rules. Dynasty and team leagues may use different regular-season and playoff structures.

A championship or first-place designation is a competitive record inside Zentryl and does not create a right to a cash prize in an ordinary in-app league.

8. Disputes

Participants should use the available result-dispute, chat, reporting, and support tools promptly. Commissioners may decide routine gameplay disputes under the published rules but must act impartially.

Zentryl may review platform abuse, conflicting evidence, commissioner misconduct, safety issues, or a dispute escalated through support. Zentryl may correct records or restrict league actions while a review is pending.

9. Disqualification and Removal

  • Cheating, exploiting software or game mechanics, collusion, or match fixing.
  • False score reporting, fabricated evidence, or manipulation of standings or rosters.
  • Harassment, threats, hate, abuse, or evasion of moderation controls.
  • Impersonation, unauthorized account use, or interference with Zentryl or a connected service.
  • Failure to follow material league rules after reasonable notice.

10. League Changes and Cancellation

A commissioner may update prospective scheduling and operational details when reasonably necessary, but may not manipulate completed results or apply material rule changes selectively.

Zentryl may suspend, archive, or cancel a league because of security, safety, technical, legal, integrity, inactivity, or operational concerns. Because ordinary in-app leagues are free-entry and prize-free, cancellation does not create a payment or prize obligation.

11. Third-Party Games and Platforms

Game publishers, console networks, Twitch, YouTube, Apple, and Google are not sponsors or administrators of ordinary Zentryl leagues unless promotion-specific rules expressly state otherwise.

Participants must comply with applicable game, platform, streaming, and account rules. A third-party outage or enforcement action may affect scheduling or participation.
