1. Scope and Who Is Responsible
This Privacy Policy explains how Zentryl L.L.C. ("Zentryl," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, and discloses personal information when you use the Zentryl mobile app, zentrylgaming.com, free-entry league and social features, streaming integrations, Commissioner Access, or support services.
Zentryl is responsible for the processing described here except where an identified third party processes information under its own terms and privacy policy. The service is currently intended for users in the United States.
The current public app offers free-entry leagues and a paid Commissioner subscription. It does not offer new paid-entry leagues, wagering, or cash prizes for newly created in-app seasons.
2. Information We Collect
- Account and profile information: email address, user ID, display name, username, profile image, gamer tag, favorite game, game preferences, and account settings.
- Website and support information: waitlist or application details, name, email, role, organization, messages, and support history.
- League and gameplay information: memberships, teams, rosters, schedules, standings, scores, match reports, confirmations, evidence references, disputes, organizer actions, and season history.
- Communications and user content: league chat, matchup chat, direct messages, reports, block records, profile content, and content submitted to support or moderation.
- Social and streaming information: follows, friend requests, friendships, Twitch and YouTube channel details, connection state, live-stream metadata, viewer counts, thumbnails, and watch links.
- Subscription information: app-store platform, product identifier, transaction identifier, purchase status, renewal or expiration status, and server-verification results for Commissioner Access.
- Device and technical information: push notification tokens, app version, device and operating-system information, IP address, security and integrity signals, diagnostics, crash data, and service usage events.
3. How We Use Information
- Create and secure accounts and provide the Zentryl service.
- Operate public and private leagues, schedules, standings, rosters, results, playoffs, and Player Hub records.
- Provide social, messaging, streaming, notification, reporting, and blocking features.
- Verify and manage Commissioner Access purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play.
- Respond to support requests and communicate service, security, policy, and account updates.
- Prevent cheating, fraud, harassment, abuse, unauthorized access, and other platform misuse.
- Diagnose failures, improve reliability, understand feature use, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Sharing of Information
We may share information with service providers that help us operate Zentryl, including Firebase and Google Cloud, Apple, Google Play, Twitch, YouTube, analytics, security, notification, and customer-support providers.
We may disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, Zentryl, or the integrity and security of the service. We may also transfer information in connection with a merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business, subject to applicable law.
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
5. Public and User-Directed Sharing
Public profile fields, public league information, standings, and connected live-stream information may be visible to other users as part of the service. Private league content is limited to authorized participants and operators, subject to moderation and support access when needed.
If you connect Twitch or YouTube, Zentryl processes the information needed to maintain that connection and display the live presence you requested. You can disconnect a provider through the available account controls.
6. Billing and Location
Commissioner Access is purchased through Apple App Store or Google Play. Zentryl does not store full payment-card details. Store providers process billing information under their own terms and privacy policies.
Current free-entry league participation does not require precise device location or state eligibility checks. Zentryl may retain historical compliance or transaction records when reasonably necessary for legal, accounting, fraud-prevention, dispute, or support purposes.
7. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain league and season history, secure the platform, resolve disputes, meet legal or accounting obligations, and enforce our agreements.
Account deletion may remove or de-identify profile information, but some records may be retained when required for security, moderation, legal compliance, backups, or the integrity of league results and communications involving other users.
8. Your Rights and Choices
- Review and update available account and profile information in the app.
- Manage push notifications and private-account messaging controls.
- Disconnect linked Twitch or YouTube accounts.
- Use in-app tools to block users, report content, or request account deletion.
- Contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or other privacy rights available under applicable law.
9. Children and Teen Users
Zentryl accounts are available only to users age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that an under-13 user created an account, we may suspend the account and delete the information as required by law.
Users who are under the age of legal majority where they live may use Zentryl only with permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to the Terms on their behalf.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. International Processing
Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other countries where Zentryl or its service providers operate. Where required, we use safeguards intended to protect information during cross-border processing.
12. Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy as the service changes. We will post the revised effective date and provide any notice or acknowledgement required by applicable law.
